It’s an exciting time: Joe Biden announced Kamala Harris as his VP, and the general Presidential election is formally kicking off with the 2020 Democratic National Convention. We prepared for this moment: over the past year, Swing Left and Crooked Media worked together to raise grassroots dollars to give the Biden campaign a boost now when they need it most. But we can do more to support the Biden presidency—we can flip the Senate.
That’s why we’re teaming up with Swing Left Senior Advisor Billy Eichner, the hosts of Pod Save America and other special guests for a Swing the Senate virtual volunteer event. This line-up has a bit of everything: critical voter contact work; energizing pep talks; a special announcement from our friends at the Pod; and meaningful conversation around the fight to Swing the Senate. So please join us on Tuesday, August 18 at 3pm CT to learn, to be entertained, and to take action by writing Vote Forward letters to voters in Colorado and Georgia, two states that will be key both to swinging the Senate and winning the White House.
